On 27th March 2010, there will be the first beatbox battle in Switzerland of this year and the second of the series Grand Beatbox Battle. The battle will take place in Basel, and it is organized by Claudio Rudin a.k.a. Ciaccolo. In the jury, there will be excellent Beatboxers and Entertainers like the finalist of last year "Knackeboul” and Bee Low from Berlin, Germany.

The event, organised by Ciaccolo will take place the 27th March this year. The Bscene club festival with more than 7000 fans will be a part of it, because the event is a success! The combination of a Beatbox Battle with the club festival is perfect and is interesting for many people. It is a good chance for beatboxers and newcomers as well to get to know each other, find new contacts and just have fun together. This year the organization makes the battle international too, so people can enter the battle from the whole Europe. Through a demotape that you had to send in, the jury decides to choose 22 beatboxers, aswell from Germany, who will fight for the title in the city of Basel.

Rules:

Each Beatboxer hast o represent himself for two minutes in the elemination round where the best eight can enter the quarter final. There you have to battle your contender two times for 90 seconds. The judges will decide through a point system that will go through the next round. All sounds must be done with your human body. The only help you get is a shure sm 58 microphone.

Eliminations -Participant 22: 1 x 120 seconds
Quarter Final - 8 participants: 2 x 90 seconds
Semi Final - 4 participants: 2 x 90 seconds
Final - 2 participants: 2 x 90 seconds
